Off Season the Granary is transformed into my weaving studio and general all purpose retreat. I play with color on the loom and with watercolors. Sometime's I'm into a creative sewing project and around Christmas will make a few stained glass pieces for gifts. Lately spinning has become an interest too, which has led me back into knitting. So while the gardens get all my creative energy in season, during the rest of the year, days spent in the Granary are bliss. The bright natural light, inspiring color and serenity of the space around me, stir my creative spirit.

I read a quote by Picasso, that sums up a need in the lives of many of us. "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist when he grows up".

If something in you calls out for this kind of experience, I am happy to share my space. The Granary is available year-round and a special invitation is extended to kindred spirits whose being needs time out for self discovery and creative expression - to reconnect with that child/artist.
